The infamous Mybar has recently launched its lunch menu, and as a follow up to my previous review of the restaurant’s dining experience, here’s a sneak peek into its lunching experience.
After its opening 7 months ago, Mybar has become a success and a favorite for many Lebanese nationals and tourists. Following its nighttime success, it launched a lunch menu, designed and prepared by its Japanese chef. The concept of the lunch menu is to provide a quicker alternative for those working around the Beirut area who only have an hour to spare. In this case, fast preparation provides delicious platters that are in no way degraded in quality or taste because of how quickly they’re prepared.
The venue itself is so slick and trendy; ideal for corporate lunches, business meetings, and even a leisurely get-together among colleagues away from the office. The new lunch menu includes items including the Goat Cheese Salad, the Tuna Salad, the Sushi and Maki set, and the Black Angus Burger. All the seafood items are impeccably fresh. The Sushi Set is delicious, the Black Angus Burger boasts a very succulent patty, and the Tuna Salad was my favorite by far. If you’re working around the Ashrafieh, Downtown, or Hamra area, I urge you to have your next business lunch or lunch break at Mybar simply to try the delicious Tuna Salad that I absolutely loved.
