Pynkiss, the high-end fashion label from international icon Hello Kitty, opened their flagship store in Lebanon, the fashion hub of the Middle East. Located on the Dbayeh highway, the store inaugurated the presence of the brand in the region which will shortly be followed by 20 more stores over six continents as part of their ambitious expansion plan.
The boutique’s launch promised to be an uber-stylish event with hundreds of guests visiting the boutique to get the full celebrity treatment and get the opportunity to be styled by stylist to the stars, Caroline Watson, who lists world famous names such as David and Victoria Beckham, Britney Spears, Kanye West and TV shows such as the X Factor and American Idol as previous clients.
Caroline and her expert team flew in to Lebanon especially to create an exclusive shopping and pampering experience solely for Pynkiss customers, who were offered the once in a lifetime chance to be styled by one of the world’s most respected and revered fashionistas. There were also ‘mother and daughter’ nail bars to complete the celebrity pampering experience and one lucky customer won a truly unique and exclusive Pynkiss pendant, depicting Hello Kitty in 18 carat gold and diamonds, worth over $8,000 USD!
A live Tweet and SMS feed into the store via a large screen, offered style and fashion advice from Caroline and her team, giving the whole country an opportunity to participate in the store launch from the comfort of their laptops. The new Pynkiss smart phone app was exclusively introduced at the event and is now available to download from the Android and Apple’s app stores and will be showcasing the entire Spring/Summer collection. The app will also enable Pynkiss lovers from all around the world to post their favorites from the collection online.
The highlight of the three day fashion extravaganza was the second day when the store opened especially for Pynkiss’s Facebook and Twitter fans to come down to the store for personal one-to-one styling sessions with Caroline herself, to see how it feels to become a fashion icon for themselves. With one customer winning an exclusive one off diamond studded Pynkiss original pendant.
