A good portion or Beirut’s population drove up for the Eid el Sayde celebrations on the eve of the Assumption of Mary holiday on August 15. Mzaar Summer Festival at the Jardin Du Mzaar. The festival went on from August 10 and came to a conclusion on the day of the Assumption of Mary, with the last night being the most festive and fun. Crowds gathered for concerts, activities, fashion shows, boutiques, food stands and more… and on the very last night on Tuesday the 14th of August, an incredible fireworks display lit up the cool night sky with a colorful burst of festive blossoms against a backdrop of beautiful mountains landscapes. The holiday marked a great occasion to spend a marvelous evening in the mountains with family and friends.
