Beirut Cooking Festival 2011

Beirut Cooking Festival launched its first edition on November 17 at the Pavilion Royal-Biel. The festival was aimed at both the public and professionals. With over 50 exhibitors and 60 workshops with top chefs and industry experts, the Beirut Cooking Festival was an excellent reference for all food enthusiasts and homemakers.

For three consecutive days, more than 50 exhibitors showcased accessories, utensils, tableware and kitchen equipment and revealed some of the industry’s latest innovations!

The Beirut Cooking Festival also hosted over 64 events including workshops with top chefs, food and beverage experts and etiquette professionals, as well as wine tasting and olive oil sampling sessions. Lebanese and international chefs from major restaurants shared their recipes and knowhow during live cooking sessions. Connoisseurs revealed what makes a good wine, secrets of pairing wine and food and the best of the latest vintages. Etiquette professionals guided visitors through hosting the perfect dinner, and design experts taught them how to decorate their table and create the ideal centerpiece for any dinning occasion.

Food lovers and homemakers had the opportunity to meet culinary authors and learn their gourmet tips and tricks while they grabbed their personal signed copy of their latest book at the Beirut Cooking Festival.
